A full campaign of social media posts, printed posters, and flyers to promote an exclusive club night featuring DJ James Haskell. The brief was simple: make it bold, modern, and eye-catching — with the goal of selling out the event.
Working from Haskell’s existing logo and a selection of promotional photography, I was drawn to a striking portrait where half of his face fell into shadow. This inspired a split design concept, symbolising his transition from rugby player to DJ — two worlds colliding.
To emphasise this contrast, I used a ripped paper effect and layered in an outline graphic of DJ decks, adding rhythm and texture to the composition. The imagery was converted to black and white for a bold, moody aesthetic, while colours were extracted from his logo to build the campaign palette and maintain visual cohesion.
Using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I produced a cohesive suite of materials for both digital and print:
Static and animated social media posts
Event flyers and printed posters
Cohesive typographic and colour treatments across all formats
The campaign successfully captured the high-energy feel of the event and drove strong engagement across channels — the night sold out.
